Also, I think I want to re-watch Outlaw Star for the first time since the 90s just so I can hear “Through The Night” once every 30 minutes. Fuggin’ love that song.
So pleased that Genshiken is even on here. I’d like to also add ‘Shin Sekai Yori’, maybe in the underviewed/ above average category

I cannot handle how amazing this is. It’s spectacular. It’s everything you could ever hope it could be.
I don’t really want to detract from how amazing this production is on its own, but the man’s obvious physical allusions to Tuxedo Mask and my earlier feelings that the song ‘Moonlight Densetsu’ doesn’t really fit the theme of Sailor Moon come together in something I’ve been thinking for a while now, which is that Moonlight Densetsu is really better-suited as a song by/about Mamoru and not Usagi or any of the other girls. It seems more closely linked to his own indecision about his relationship and where he stands.
But, that aside, just watch this phenomenal piece of music theater, good grief it is good.

China’s censors are blocking words like “today” and “June 4” from social media as part of the country’s yearly chore to block any reference to the anniversary to the Tiananmen Square massacre 24 years ago. And though the Chinese are running a sophisticated and tight censorship ship, they’re having a bit harder time blocking memes. Yes memes.
